Terms of Use
Last updated 6 September 2026
Dino Wilds is a paid game made by Ryan Keats, an independent developer ("we"). You accept these terms in the game before naming your first survivor, and playing means you accept them. They are short on purpose.
The rules
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. Other people can see the name you choose and the messages you send. Do not use them for slurs, hate speech, sexual content, harassment, threats, impersonation, or anything targeting someone because of who they are.
If you break this, we remove the survivor and may block the account from playing online. There is no appeal for slurs or content involving minors, and no second chance.
What we do about it
- Names are filtered. Every survivor name is checked before it is accepted, on your device and again on our server. A patched game cannot get a blocked name past the server.
- You can report anyone. Walk up to a player and choose REPORT. We read every report and act on it. We aim to respond within three days.
- You can block anyone, instantly. Blocking hides that player's character, their bag and their messages, and leaves any group you shared. Your block list is in SETTINGS under the pause menu, and it holds your hundred most recent blocks.
- You can play alone. SOLO MODE in the same menu takes you offline entirely, rebuilding the world around you with nobody else in it.
Your survivor and your save
Your save lives on your device and is mirrored to our server so you can restore it. We do not sell it and we do not use it for anything but running the game. We may remove a survivor that broke the rules above.
You can delete your survivor and its cloud save at any time: open SETTINGS from the pause menu and choose RETIRE SURVIVOR.
The game is a one-time purchase from the App Store or Google Play, with no ads and no in-app purchases. Refunds are handled by the store you bought it from, under that store's policies. We may change the game, or stop running the online part of it, at any time — if the servers go away the game keeps working on its own.
Age
Dino Wilds is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
No warranty
The game is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using it — including a lost save. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be mentioned in the game's release notes.
